Does YOUR Pet Have
For REAL Meat? Or, for other brands containing rice, soybean meal, soy flour, wheat flour, corn flour, rice flour and/or all the other grain like fillers listed as the top main ingredients. (Grains and/or ground up grains cannot hold a specific shape, thus kibbles are shaped by using adhesives, then sprayed with chicken fat to gain pet interest.) For REAL Meat? Or, for other brands containing Chicken Meal, Beef Meal, Fish Meal, Lamb Meal as main ingredients? These "meal" substance ingredients are all made from rendered, very low grade animal parts (production waste materials from meat packing plants)--they are not the nutrition rich, high quality, organ and muscle meats found abundantly in AFS products. AFS products do not include the above materials. More Info... Rendered "Meal" type ingredients
are simply not the same as Natural, "Real Meat" ingredients! But, when one reads pet food labels in a hurry, "Chicken Meal" looks like "Chicken Meat" (the word "meal" looks like the word "meat"); and the price on the label does not change the lack of value and/or benefit to the animal eating it! At the very best, meal-made substances can only serve as roughage ("roughage" defined: coarse bulky food that is relatively high in fiber and low in digestible nutrients and that by its bulk stimulates peristalsis) Natural Nutrition is Smart! AFS
Makes It EASY!
Sadly, a sickly pet is not only suffering but is also often an abused and/or neglected pet. If we are what we eat, can't the same thing be true about our pets? This is an important question because our pets are confined animals, dependant upon us, their caretakers. ** Try AFS products for 30 days...You'll be able to see the difference, really see the difference! **

Want REAL Nutrition, Optimum Health? Please read pet food ingredient lists...really read them! Don't settle for hyped up labeling and imitation ingredients. Protect your pet from a multitude of costly disorders caused by malnutrition and allergies to foreign subtances. Fussy
or Finicky Pet? Hundreds upon hundreds of AFS customers have stated they were really hesitant to try yet another pet food, but when they saw the excitement and eagerness their pet(s) had when an AFS product was introduced, they were sold! Many were also quite relieved, as well, because their pet not only was eating again, but was quite noticably healthier and more energetic after being on AFS. That's when they became truly sold--and a long-term customer, as well! AFS' natural raw meat diets continue to earn the "Thumbs Up" approval from dogs, cats, exotic animals, accredited animal dietitions, breeders, show handlers, and proud domestic pet owners everywhere! (When a pet becomes disinterested in eating the pet owner can have a wide number of pet care concerns; including the added costs of investigating the possible problem. Add to this, the time, energy and costs of trying a number of different pet foods and/or suggested diets that just don't work. Most all dry baked foods and treats are sprayed with chicken fat and/or include it in the ingredients, just to entice the animal into believing it is editable. Please read all product labels before purchasing.)
So, don't take your pet to the pound! Switch to AFS raw meat diets! Animal hospitals across the U.S. feed our fresh raw meat diets while animals are in their care, because of the wonderful healing qualities they possess!

In The Wild, Internal Organs, Blood & Bone Are Prime Food Targets for Meat Eating Predators! In the wild, predators hunt other animals--not grains produced by plants--eating organ tissue first. One can readily see how nourishing organ meats (by-products) are. The term "by-products" has somehow acquired an undeserved negative connotation in some circles. However, though AFS is required to use the term by-products on all labeling, only the very nutrition-rich organ meats found between the shoulders and the first stomach are included in product manufacturing. (The official AAFCO definition, however, reads: The non rendered clean parts, other than meat, derived from slaughtered mammals. This includes, but is not limited to, lungs, spleen, kidneys, brain, livers, blood, bone, partially de-fatted low temperature fatty tissue, stomachs and intestines freed of their contents. It DOES NOT include hair, horns, teeth and hooves.) This is an excellent
source for the cat for highly digestible protein, fat and minerals.
Finely ground bone is utilized to balance the formula so that the proper
ratios of minerals are present, such as calcium and phosphorus.
Finely grinding the bone provides a greater surface area for stomach
acid hydrolysis and subsequent intestinal absorption. Bone has
a wide variety of minerals. Don't mistake this ingredient for
meat and bone meal, a highly variable and mediocre source of nutrients
for cats; plus meat and bone meal in ordinary cat foods has been cooked
at least twice!

Comparing AFS
Fresh-Frozen & Freeze-Dried Products:
| When special
conditions of vacuum and temperature are applied to a FROZEN Pet Patty,
only the moisture escapes. The result is a FREEZE-DRIED Pet Patty,
which is much lighter in weight than the original frozen patty. The
ONLY difference now between the frozen and freeze-dried state is the lower
moisture content of the freeze-dried patty. The quantity (weight)
of every ingredient other than moisture remains the same in the freeze-dried,
as it was in the original frozen patty.
Take a look at the diagram below and you can see why the PERCENT OF EACH INGREDIENT must change when the moisture is removed. The protein, fat and carbohydrate quantity stays the same in each... but since the Freeze-Dried patty has very little moisture weight the PERCENT OF EACH INGREDIENT differs between the two forms. The weight (amount) of each nutrient does not change... only the moisture quantity has changed and that changes the percentages of the ingredients. |

| NOTE:
The natural prey (deer, rabbits, birds, rodents, etc.) of carnivores, if
analyzed for protein, fat, carbohydrate, minerals and water, would compare
very closely to the ingredient content of our AFS frozen diets.
Our Freeze-Dried meat products, have the same nutrient composition as the frozen patties except that most of the moisture (not the nutritional elements) has been removed. Plus... again closely comparing to a meat eater's natural diet, our AFS meat products have essentially the same high digestibility as natural prey. AND, our meat products have no artificial colors nor chemical preservatives added... just like Nature! Free ranging carnivores do not cook their meat prior to consuming... and neither does AFS! Your dog or cat now has the advantage of consuming a scientifically devised meat product that takes its directions from Nature. Help your dog or cat get close to Nature; feed AFS meat based diets and you will see the difference real meat makes... NATURALLY! Our products are shipped right to your door! |
