OVERVIEW
AFS
has developed a Dealer/Distributor Network throughout the United
States, making our line of fresh-frozen & freeze-dried meat
diets and treats available to the growing "companion pet" market.
This market has many opportune sales targets; including dog shows,
working dogs, hunting dogs, security and police dogs,veterinarian
clinics/hospitals, rescue professionals, dog/cat related clubs and
organizations, as well as, pet owners, trainers, handlers, breeders,
veterinarians, etc.
The
decline in nutritional value of the average commercial pet foods,
along with problems they cause in the health management of the
animals forced to consume them, has opened a wide window of opportunity
for AFS products.
As
a Dealer/Distributor of AFS meat diets, you will be greatly rewarded,
both financially and emotionally, when you discover "the
magic of meat" and what it does for the health and well-being
of properly fed animals.
In
our common pursuit of this market, AFS promises to support
you and your customers with more than a 30 year background
in the nutritional feeding of meat eaters. Support includes:
- Brochures
on each diet, feeding and handling instructions, helpful feeding
hints, answers to most often asked questions.
- Point
of sale posters.
- Photocopies
of product testing over the years.
- Numerous
testimonial letters, some with before and after pictures.
- Many
articles which support our philosophy and assist you and your
customer's education about fresh meat diets.
- Training
Tapes and Seminar Audio Cassettes.
- AFS
will continue to advertise nationally and will always refer
respondents to the nearest geographically located distributor
As
an AFS Dealer/Distributor, you will have the entire AFS staff
to assist you personally, by phone or in person when possible,
in the successful development of your dealer/customer network.
This includes:
- The
experience of a company that has sold fresh, frozen meat diets
in zoos, wildlife parks, circuses, and greyhound parks for over
two decades.
- Richard
Patton, PhD, animal nutritionist and instrumental
in the development of the very first prepared zoo diets for
carnivores, in the formulation of our present diets, and developed
our vitamin/mineral pre-mix.
- William
R. Lance, DVM, MS, PhD,certified wildlife biologist
and founder of Wildlife Pharmaceuticals.
Dr. Lance is our consulting pathologist and has been our trouble
shooter, most stalwart leaning post and support throughout the
years.
- All
of us at AFS will continue to work together, with you,
to make the proper diet for carnivores available to the world's
companion canines and felines.
AFS
will continue to plan informative conferences, both locally
and nationally.
- These
get-togethers offer us a chance to share experiences, exchange
ideas, and learn from one another firsthand on the many different
approaches to conducting business successfully.
- They
afford us the opportunity to know each other better socially
and, possibly, to make new friends who share common beliefs.
- We
will schedule guest speakers for each conference with topics
concerning pertinent subjects, ie: nutrition, health management,
distribution methods, cold storage and transportation tips,
sales techniques, advertising options, cost and time saving
agendas, mail order methods, etc.
- Distributors
will also have the option of participating as speakers to share
their experiences, knowledge and/or favorite testimonials with
us.
- We
are all looking forward to more of these gatherings with great
anticipation.
