...I noticed on the last page of the February issue that next month you're doing a story on commercially prepared raw food diets.  I'm hoping you haven't put that story to bed yet, not if you didn't mention Animal Food Services (AFS) of Iola, Wisconsin.  I discovered them in a list at the back of K. Schultz's "The Ultimate diet" book (which I bought after reading WDJ, naturally!

AFS is now my Number One food supplier.  Their customer service is excellent.  Example:  my first dry-iced box was left on a vacant house's front porch, a mistake by the air express carrier.  Rob Mueller, AFS President, and his able assistant, Mary Beth, promptly sent me a replacement and were very easy to deal with.

Their Pet Patties, are frozen raw meat...  Both my Cavalier puppy and my step-son's toy poodle won't eat their all natural Wysong dry kibble anymore.  They smell the patty and start barking, whining, running in circles until I put their bowls down.  Within a week of changing to AFS all problems were gone, including itchy coats, shedding, runny eyes, bad breath, etc.  I respect Billinghurst and his two classic books on BARF, and my go that route some day, to a degree anyway.  Until then, Pet Patties are the only raw meat I'll use.
